Common Questions
We know visiting a new church is hard. We want to remove some guess work, and help you feel prepared for your first experience with us!
- Where do I go? “One Church…Many Places” means that we are one church that meets in several locations (we call them campuses), as well as online! You can join us in Mansfield, Ontario, Shelby, Waterford/Fredericktown or on our Online Campus.
(Check above for service times and directions!) - What should I wear? We’re pretty casual! Come as you are, whether you like dressing up for church or prefer t-shirts. Our Pastor typically wears jeans!
- When should I arrive? We recommend arriving 15 minutes early. This will give you plenty of time to park (find our New Here parking up front!), check in kids, stop by our New Here kiosk, and grab a cup of coffee before service.
- What is a service like? Our services typically run close to 75 minutes. We start with worship and then have a message. Our worship style is contemporary and our preaching is always biblical (we love context and digging into a passage of scripture!)
- Do I need to bring a Bible? You are welcome to, but if you don’t, we’ve got you covered. Bible passages will be on the screen so that you can follow along, and there will also be Bibles available in the seat in front of you (you’re always welcome to take that home with you, if you don’t have one!)
- Where do my kids go during service? We have Crossroads Kids available for Newborn-5th graders during all services (except the 9am Classic Service in Ontario). Check the Kids & Teens FAQ tabs below to learn more!

Kids Newborn – 5th Grade are welcome! We’ll have age-appropriate lessons and activities to help your kids learn about Jesus while also making friends.

This is a time for games, videos, discussion, and biblical teaching. It is a great time to hang out with friends and make some new ones.

Wednesday Night Student Ministry Academy
Student Ministry Academy is an opportunity for 6th-12th graders to experience small groups in a new way. From baking and music lessons, to studies and video games, there’s a group for every student. And best of all—they have fun while learning more about who God is! If your student is interested in joining a group, they can sign up here.

- New Here? Stop by our New Here kiosk in the lobby! We’ll help you find ways to get connected, including an invitation to one of our “Connect Events.”
- Join us for a class! Growth Track is a set of classes where you can take your next step in getting to know Crossroads and in getting to know Christ on a deeper level. Crossroads 101 is the best place to start! We always have a Crossroads 101 class coming up. Sign up for the next one here!
- Join a Community Group! Communities launch a new semester 3 times a year, and there are always so many opportunities to get plugged in! Find out more here.
- Join a serve team! Volunteering is not only a great way to serve the church, it’s also a great opportunity to make friends and be a part of a team. Let us know you’re interested in serving here!
- Come to First Wednesdays! Every first Wednesday of the month, we have a worship and prayer night at our Ontario Campus at 7pm. Full children services are available so you can bring the whole family!
YAM (Young Adults Ministry) at Crossroads exists to help Young Adults grow in their passion for Jesus and accomplish His mission through the Church.
We have connection events and community groups for college age, young professionals, young married, and young families.
